Obviously, the fans are very upset and so is Seung Gi to the point where he pushes the speakerphone away to be more personal with his fans. Because of the background noise and screaming, it is hard to make out every translation of what the fans are saying, but they are protesting and are obviously not taking it too well. What I can hear clearly is Seung Gi’s voice and his explanation of the cancellation to his fans. I can hear one fan saying “Yatte kudasai!” which is a polite but imperative form of to do or give something, in this case perhaps give an explanation or to go on with the concert, it is out of context, so I cannot be sure what she wants. It’s not until a staff member tries to quiet down the crowd by telling them that Seung Gi will be speaking that it calms down a bit.
Seung Gi: Today, I was anticipating a great performance and came today with the hopes of meeting you. Even a while ago, when I was waiting, I was going through a lot of preparation for today’s stage. Because of the news that there is no public transportation for you to return home due to the heavy snow, unfortunately, a decision was made to cancel today’s performance. Really, if it were up to me, I would like to go on with the performance and have everyone sleep here tonight. However, unfortunately, due to many factors and the fact that we cannot guarantee the staffs’ safety, once again, I’d like to apologize. I’m very, very sorry.
