I’m very lucky to have a VERY understanding pharmacist. ^^ First it was with Berocca’s new CF poster, and now, Medifoam. She knows I’m an Airen and was unaware that Seung Gi was endorsing this high-end brand of bandages until I showed her his CF photos from my blog.
Thanks to her graciousness and patience with my fan girling, I was able to take photos of all the Medifoam products I could. Of course I didn’t leave the pharmacy without purchasing something in return. So I bought a box of Berocca vitamins. 🙂
This box costs 8,000 South Korean Won, which is approximately $8 US dollars
The back of the box
This is the box that Seung Gi was holding. It costs 6,500 Won or about $6.50 in US dollars.
The Medifoam collection. It ranges from 6,500 Won to 8,500 Won ($6.50 US ~ $8.50 US) depending on the size.
Another view. The top boxes of bandages come in two different thickness, 2mm and 1mm. This brand is used for deeper wounds that ooze and for blisters with exposed skin. It is widely used in hospitals. I have seen it during my time working in the US and now in Korean hospitals as well.
The back of the boxes. I hope this helps you get an idea of what they are like in real life. 🙂
I had to thank my pharmacist for letting me take photos of Medifoam, so here are photos of the Berocca effervescent tablet vitamins I bought for 20,000 Won. There are 30 tablets separately wrapped in 2 metallic tubes of 15 per box. It’s orange flavored and pretty tasty for a vitamin. 🙂
Here are photos of Berocca vitamin in water. It fizzes and dissolves just like Alka Seltzer, but tastes much better. 🙂 This is the 30 tablet box I purchased for 20,000 Won ($20 US)
Here’s a photo of a 15 tablet tube of Berocca. It costs 12,000 Won, so the 30 tablet box is a better deal, plus it is a month’s supply.
