The Lunar New Year holiday officially starts tomorrow, 2/18 and lasts until Sunday, 2/22. What you see in the KB ad is a fabric game board for the traditional Korean game called “yutnori”. If you look at the lower right hand corner, you’ll see 4 wooden sticks. Players get in teams and throw these sticks in the air. Depending on the position that they land, they get to move around the board using tokens a given number of spaces. The object of the game is to be the first to go around the board. My relatives in Korea love playing this game during Lunar New Year. Kim Yuna’s quote in the ad says,”Enjoy an exciting game of yutnori with your family.”
