[What We Wish to Say to Seung Gi] Love message Event for Airen 6 Members

The official Airen fanclub has just tweeted an announcement regarding a “love message” event for Lee Seung Gi.  It’s posted in the community board so I don’t see anything wrong with giving Airen 6 members a heads up. This event is unfortunately limited to Airen 6 members, but I think it’s only fair to let all Airens know about it.

To cheer Seung Gi on for his new album release and 11th Debut Anniversary, the fanclub is holding an event where they will pick winners out of fans who send Seung Gi a one sentence message and/or a video message through the fanclub’s official site.

The event runs from Friday, May 1st to Thursday, May 7th, KST. (That’s 7 days)

Seung Gi: To begin with, Eun Dae Gu’s character had different qualities from the previous characters I portrayed so he had a lot of charm. In the past, I was in many dramas based on fantasy. I decided to play this character because I was able to portray a very realistic character without that element.

Seung Gi in Japanese: Yes, hello everyone in Japan. I am Lee Seung Gi.

Seung Gi: In You’re All Surrounded, out of all the roles I’ve played, I think my acting underwent the most change.  Since I put a lot of effort into portraying Detective Eun Dae Gu who is intelligent, smart, and very cold, I hope you will enjoy watching it. Hmm…I think it’s very colorful. In any case, there was a good harmony with many actors with colorful characters. 2015 KB Good Job Fair Video Clip & Information

[You’re All Surrounded!~ Accidental Love] BTS NG Clip Part 2~ Preview from Japan’s DVD Set #1

The first take is an NG because Cha Seung Won messes up his line. Seung Gi asks what his lines are afterwards and keeps cracking up. Cha Seung Won is supposed to say “My kids” meaning the P4 team but the serious atmosphere is hard to keep with Seung Gi cracking up. He asks the director if they can try one more time before this clip fades out.

[English] Transcript of Seung Gi’s Video Message Regarding His New Album

After seeing a prominent blogger share the transcript of Seung Gi’s video message in Japanese and after much thought and hesitation, I decided it was only fair that English speaking Airens also deserve to know what he said. Although I’m an official Airen 6, I don’t believe that one has to be a fanclub member to be an Airen. I’m following the official fanclub’s request not to upload the video, so I haven’t broken their rule or committed a sin. I will just share what was said using the official fanclub’s screencap as I believe Seung Gi’s message is more important.

Airens, but you know…(smiles) Nice to meet you, I’m Lee Seung Gi. (laughs) Because I feel that I’m greeting you after a long time, I feel very sorry yet happy.  I’m currently in the recording studio and the various wavelengths in the back are songs that will be in my next, coming soon album. (Presses a button and a chord plays) I’ll only let you hear up to this point. Uhmm….for starters, I’m in the middle of working hard and more than any other album, I’m really working on it diligently. Personally, I think a highly satisfying album will be produced. So, really, more than any other time, because I think it’ll become an album that fans will want to have, please wait a little bit. Being greedy about this and that has postponed time…If you wait a little bit, I will come back with a new album in May or early June. Thank you for waiting during all this time. In this album, truly, starting from the music, lyrics, atmosphere, even the concept, there isn’t an area that my sweat hasn’t gone into. I trust that everyone will like it. Happy 6th Anniversary, Brilliant Legacy!

Time flies! It’s already the 6th Anniversary of Brilliant Legacy’s first episode on SBS. The first episode aired on April 25, 2009 at 9:45pm KST on Sat/Sun for 28 episodes until July 26th. Han Hyo Joo, Moon Chae Won, and Lee Seung Gi made a great trio and all three had great onscreen chemistry. To celebrate the 6th Anniversary, I’ve uploaded fanvideos.  I’ve tried to upload as many OSTs from the drama but many songs are not part of the original Shining Inheritance OST. Enjoy!

Lee Seung Gi Receives Praise by Jimmy Choo Party Attendee

Someone in the fashion industry attended Jimmy Choo’s party in Chungdahm-dong, Gangnam on April 10th and spotted Lee Seung Gi.  The blog post was published earlier today, but most of the photos of celebrities in her blog concentrate on Seung Gi.  Here are a few photos from the post along with her comment.
