Happy 1st Anniversary ‘You’re All Surrounded!’

Time really flies. I can’t believe it’s already been a year since the first broadcast of Seung Gi’s drama, ‘You Are All Surrounded’.  My excitement as an Airen also prompted me to join the English subbing team on Viki.com with this drama, so it’s also been a year since I’ve been volunteering as a Korean subber and editor for various Kdramas.  All those sleepless nights subbing and editing were truly worth it. Seung Gi is truly an inspiration. Congratulations Seung Gi and the YAAS cast and crew. We miss Dae Gu Dae Gu! ♥

Happy 6th Anniversary, Brilliant Legacy!

Time flies! It’s already the 6th Anniversary of Brilliant Legacy’s first episode on SBS. The first episode aired on April 25, 2009 at 9:45pm KST on Sat/Sun for 28 episodes until July 26th. Han Hyo Joo, Moon Chae Won, and Lee Seung Gi made a great trio and all three had great onscreen chemistry. To celebrate the 6th Anniversary, I’ve uploaded fanvideos.  I’ve tried to upload as many OSTs from the drama but many songs are not part of the original Shining Inheritance OST. Enjoy!

Happy 2nd Anniversary to The Gu Family Book!

It’s already been 2 years since The Gu Family Book aired on April 8, 2013 on MBC. Mondays and Tuesdays were never days to dread even though they were the beginning of the work week because of this awesome sageuk-fantasy drama. It ran for 24 episodes and ended on June 25, 2013. In his interviews, Seung Gi said he would not be interested in doing a part 2 of this drama because he suffered so much physically during filming. Instead, if he played a character in a sageuk, he prefers to play a nobleman so he doesn’t have to kneel like Kangchi did.  In celebration of its 2nd Anniversary, I’ve uploaded some fanvideos and fan art.

I think Admiral Lee Soon Shin in the drama described Seung Gi’s half man-half beast character the best: 

“In this immortal world, he’s a kid who genuinely dreams of becoming a human.”
