Credit: seunggiairen

This clip talks about the close relationship between Lee Seung Gi and Lee Seo Jin despite the fact that they have a 16 year age difference. “However, between these two (Na PD and Lee Seo Jin) there was another close friend..he is…” Cut to the clip on 3 Meals a Day on the episode where Seung Gi shows up as a guest.  Na PD met Lee Seo Jin for the first time after asking 1N2D members to bring a friend. Lee Seung Gi called and asked him if he could bring Lee Seo Jin.  Na PD says “That was totally ‘Thank you’.” That’s how Na PD got to know Lee Seo Jin.  Lee Seung Gi and Lee Seo Jin also spent Christmas Eve together and Lee Seo Jin says he got angry at Seung Gi when he showed up at his house.  Seo Jin asked him,”What are you doing here on Christmas Eve?” That’s how they became close friends. Clip from Love Forecast with Seung Gi saying, “This is something the entire world should know.”

Choi Ji Woo: Hello, I’m Choi Ji Woo. I’m cheering on Teachers Park Geun Hyung and Yoon Yeo Jung.  I’m really looking forward to their sweet melo acting.

Lee Seung Gi: As a person gets older, their thinking becomes much more mature. It’s true that many things grow and change but I think the pureness of love is similar even if one ages. I didn’t think that there were very many genres like that in South Korea. I would like to see the two Teachers show us what it’s like.

Kim Hee Ae: I think they enjoyed it because I feel that both actors are very charming. I’m very curious about their romance…

Lee Seo Jin: Everyone who watched ‘Grandpas over Flowers’ may know that despite being over 70, I think he has many romantic feelings. As for Teacher Yoon Yeo Jung, I personally meet her often. She still has the feelings and charm of a young girl…

Lee Soon Jae: Needless to say, both are experts at acting. I believe a magnificent harmony will result since they are distinguished actors.

Na Young Seok PD: Probably more than young people, I believe their relationship and story will make hearts flutter even more.  The body may age but honestly, the heart is the same.

Lee Seo Jin: The way a person expresses him/her self and the situations of that generation may change a bit, but love always remains the same.

Kim Hee Ae: If there was no love in this world, how desolate and awful would it be. Love should always lie as a base (foundation); then how happy things will be.

Lee Soon Jae: I’m thinking that Director Kang Je-gyu will have another masterpiece.

Lee Seo Jin: Obviously, the expectations for this movie are very high.

Kim Hee Ae: I really wish for it to be successful.

Na Young Seok PD: I am cheering on Salut d’Amor!

Lee Seo Jin: I’m cheering on your love story!

Kim Hee Ae: Cheering you on!

Choi Ji Woo: If you love, do it for a long time!

Lee Seung Gi: If you love, do it for a long time!

Lee Soon Jae: If you want to live a long time, love.

Male voiceover as Yoon Yeo Jung and Park Geun Hyung are dancing in the movie: What does your final love look like?

Yoon Yeo Jung as she cries and holds Park Geun Hyung’s hands: I’m sorry.

Park Geun Hyung: Promise me. No matter which of us dies first, let’s not cry.

Male voiceover: Director Kang Je-gyu’s first moving drama, Salut d’Amor.

Opening caption: A few moments later, Seo Jin is reading a book…

Next caption in salmon: At that moment, the phone rings again

White caption: Now what kind of phone call could this be?

As Seo Jin rolls over , the captions represent a rolling sound: (baeng-geu-reu-reu-reu-reu)

Red and white captions up top: The phone that hadn’t worked well earlier is ringing all of a sudden

LSJ: Hello?

Caption by black silhouette: This time a young man?!

LSG: Ah, yes hello? Who is this?

Caption in white and dark green: The man who made the call and asks who he’s speaking to

LSJ: Who are you?

Caption in maroon and white at the bottom: Could it be another phone call looking for Min Kyung?

LSG: Isn’t this Mr. Lee Seo Jin’s cell phone?

White and maroon captions: How does this young man know my name?

LSJ (keen by his name): You called a landline so why are you asking about a cell phone?

White caption: Who are you..

In green and white captions: Due to Seo Jin’s keen sense, the other person is rather flustered.

LSG: Hyung, it’s me

LSJ: Who is this?

LSG: (heodang by his name): Seung Gi

LSJ: Is it you, Seung Gi?

LSG: Why does your voice sound like you’re just about to pass away? Out of your voices that I’ve heard over the phone in the 5 years I’ve known you, this one sounds the most depressed.

LSJ: Well, there’s nothing to do and the program is just ruined!!!!!

Caption in teal green: Seo Jin who advertises to the entire neighborhood that the program has flopped.

Caption in teal green, maroon, and white: Seung Gi who is curious about Seo Jin’s house where he carries out his daily life

LSJ to LSG: In my view, I think this phone is also tapped.

White caption: Also….tapped?

LSJ to LSG: No, it’s tapped, the sound is…someone is holding the receiver right now.

Caption in white and yellow: He is no longer able to trust anyone now!

LSJ: Seung Gi-ya, be careful. You’re being eavesdropped on right now!

LSG: Where are you, isn’t it in the mountains?

Caption: Seung Gi just brushes it off and laughs

LSJ: Yeah

Caption: However, as expected, Seo Jin doesn’t drop his guard

LSG: Why would there be eavesdropping going on inside the mountains?

LSJ: Hey, we’re being eavesdropped on..the sound is that of eavesdropping.

Caption in green by his shoulder and on the other side of the screen: He looks around

LSG: Hyung, aren’t you happy I called?

LSJ: I’m saying we’re being eavesdropped on right now.

Captions as he speaks: Seung Gi-ya, come to your senses, we’re being eavesdropped on!!!

LSJ: Hey, who is it? (Captions in teal green say the same thing)

Who is listening in?

LSJ to LSG: Fine, since we’re being eavesdropped on, this won’t do.

Caption: Seung Gi-ya, trust me since we’re being eavesdropped on

LSG: Okay. If you find the phone, please contact me.

LSJ: I got it.

Caption: Seung Gi-ya, trust me since we’re being eavesdropped on, don’t talk about other things (?)!

[English] Baeksang Awards~ Na Young Seok PD’s Acceptance Speech

Credit: JTBC Star

English translation:

Na Young Seok PD: Thank you. As I was leaving a large company and moving to a small one, I didn’t think that I’d have an opportunity to receive any awards. I don’t think that my personal ability was the reason for this kind of miracle. I owe it to Teacher Lee Soon Jae, Teacher Shin Gu, Teacher Park Geun Hyun, and Teacher Baek Il Sub who traveled together with us and enjoyed it. In addition, I think that it is due to Lee Seo Jin who worked hard in assisting the Teachers. I’m very thankful. Also, after Grandpas over Flowers ended, I was in a burdensome position.  I want to thank Teacher Yoon Yeo Jung, Teacher Kim Ja Ok, Hee Ae noona, and Mi Yeon noona who readily agreed to leave on a trip with us. I would also like to relay many thanks to our Seung Gi who readily took on the role of a porter. I’m currently working at a broadcasting station called tvN. Although it may be smaller than my previous workplace, there, I will try to become someone who makes even larger programs. I want to become a person who makes programs that portray the meaning of people living amongst each other. Thank you.
