Lee Seung Gi: We began the (Lunar) new year together with Big Issue but I found out about the existence of this magazine belatedly. After finding out that there was a magazine with such a good purpose, I worked together with Big Issue through talent donation. Compared to the photoshoot for the magazine, after directly coming out to sell the magazine together with the homeless, I’d be very thankful if more people would be aware of this magazine. Also, although so many of my fans showed a lot of interest this time, if ordinary folks saw this and there was a bit more awareness of Big Issue‘s purpose and existence through thoughts such as,”What exactly is Big Issue?”, “What is it that makes Lee Seung Gi come and sell it?” I think it will also be helpful in being a source of strength for people around us who need it. It was really rewarding to sell them directly and I was very happy because I think many people showed their interest.
Lee Sung Yong (Big Issue Vendor at Donggak station, Exit 11): I was nervous because it was the first time. Sales were really good.
Oh Hyun Seok (Big Issue Vendor at Express Bus Terminal Exit 8): It was really great and because I was selling next to Lee Seung Gi, I felt satisfied and really liked it. Also, he was so tall! (chuckles) So everything was laid back and great.
Kim Hyung Chul (Big Issue Vendor at Gangnam station, Exit 9): I definitely felt that Big Issue vendors weren’t alone. Having such a famous person come and have hundreds of people come to help gives me strength. I am thankful for it.
Sign that Seung Gi is holding: Will you read Big Issue with me? ♥

Many thanks to China Airen who took the time to make a subbed video. Please note, these are not my translations. It would’ve been great to get a video subbed with them, but I simply didn’t have the time. Also, special thanks to Jessica Jai who uploaded this video. Your hardwork in translating, subbing, and encoding is much appreciated.
